Jiangmen Zisha Primary School was founded in 1920 by Huang Xuxin, a graduate of Tsinghua University. 

In 1955 it was named Zisha Road Primary School, during the Cultural Revolution it was renamed Dongfeng Primary School, in 1978 it was renamed Zisha Primary School in Jiangmen City, and in 1999 it merged with Jiangmen City Jifang Primary School and named it Jiangmen Zisha Primary School.
